I feel privileged to be the Headteacher at Staunton-on-Wye Endowed Primary School. Staunton is a very happy school that provides a secure and caring environment. Staff work hard to ensure exemplary academic results through practical, inspiring lessons with the ‘whole’ child at the centre of all they do.

We pride ourselves on using our environment in a sustainable way, having maintained the Green Flag accolade for nearly 20 years! This Eco identity roots Staunton pupils; provides them with a strong sense of belonging and enhances their personal development – grounding them within their school and the local community. As Headteacher, I continually strive to creatively and enthusiastically drive Staunton’s curriculum journey. Our innovative whole school curriculum is planned and sequenced so that new knowledge and skills are built on, whilst Staunton’s Eco-school roots remain at its heart.

Our school is a place where children thrive; our high expectations and knowledge of individual children means we support and challenge them every day.
