Daily Routine
The School day runs from 8:40am until 3:30pm, totalling 32.5 hours of schooling in typical week.
We are happy for parents/carers to come in and see us, especially if you have any concerns or worries about your child. However, we request that parents/carers see teachers after the end of the school day – this enables the class teacher to begin teaching lessons promptly, following registration.
School starts at 9:00am and finishes at 3.30pm
Gates open at 8.40am, and close at 8.55am where staff are on duty to welcome children. After this all children must be brought to reception to ensure a safe handover to a member of staff.
Registration is at 9am.
Assemblies are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.
Morning break
Reception & KS1 – 10.15am – 10.30am
KS2 – 10.30am – 10.45am
Lunchtime is from 12.00pm – 1.10pm
Afternoon break for Reception & Class 1 is from 2.30pm – 2.45pm.
Home time is at 3.30pm for all pupils from the school carpark.
Getting to and from school
We recommend walking to school if possible. We have a bicycle shed if you prefer to cycle to school. If you are travelling by car to school please use the staggered taxi-rank system. Please do not, under any circumstances, park on the yellow crisscrossed lines.
